Hi Friends...
Often on many occasions we criticize our own country for its disadvantages and attitude of people. And we criticize our governments for all these so called mishaps and chaos that India is being over-shadowed with, but forgetting the fact that we are the ones who elected them to rule over us. Strange world sometimes.. right?? Well... i made this blog getting inspired by a blog of my friend. In that she scripted her comments like this :

"We are the present youth of our nation and we have the power to change the country more than any government. If this happens, the change along with the impact would be a massive. Earlier the question used to be ‘what can the country do for us?’ but at present age the question should churn as ‘what can we do for our country?

I do realize it’s so easy to write but tough and perhaps dangerous to bring ourselves to action. But if a magazine or a movie like ‘Rang De Basanti’ could awaken me then so can I rouse my friends who read the post. When you read it, I want you to realize that you are today’s Indian youth and you have the immense power to change and dawn our country to new beginnings. I am not talking about going up to the streets and protesting for a change. As a matter of fact I myself haven’t got a clue of how to bring about this change.
"

After reading that i was truly inspired initially. But in a state of bother too at the same time, when i read the last line that even she was clueless about what to do.

Changes start with ideas. This blog of mine is a small one which poked my thoughts when i read the above blog.Coming straight to the point buddies-lets imagine ourselves to be THE PRIME MINISTER of INDIA. Thinking from that point of view just speak out how you will try to make INDIA a better country!!! How we can bring about changes!!!

I know this might not be considered as a realistic venture by many of you.You may even think this to be a silly, impractical idea. But guys who knows... Someday anyone could get inspired by your suggestions. And who knows..what if we succeed to bring these small suggestions of ours to a big stage where at least some sensible people among the authorities notice it!!??? Hope is too small a word but with huge consequences when they come true. Lets 'hope' for a better INDIA and 'hope' that- we Youth Can Bring a Change!!!

REPLY YOUR SUGGESTIONS THROUGH COMMENTS!!

Hey! I am so elated that u started a blog because of mine. Thank you!
You are right Sach. We need to bring out ideas. And that's why I kept quoting that this is the best time for us to ponder over and create new innovations for a better India.

Imagining if I was the PM is a pretty big stuff here since we are a multi-political country. I believe the present govt is doing a great job right now in terms of the nuclear issues and so on. But the development is slow mainly hampered by corruption and tough opposition parties who believe India is for Hindus, which by the way is totally absurd. So what do we do about that? What do we do about the village people who are not ready to let go off the old taboos? What about the thousands of MLA's and MP's with the least basic education who goes around rampaging and terrorizing their constituencies? What about the false promises by leaders? What about the sick men who can't differentiate between their mothers and sisters and have no limits to their stares and comments on women? The questions could go on forever.

For that, we need someone from the youth to reach out to the masses and pioneer a revolution. That's what in my belief the 'true FATHERS of the nation' did long back to attain independence. And in this country there isn't a PM vacancy for people other than grandfathers. It's pathetic!

Let me know :) Great writing and great reading the blog. Keep going!

If I were to become the PM then I would:
(1) Set up at least 2 schools in every panchayat providing funds to help the poor.
(2) Death penalty for rappers.
(3) Promote micro-financing in every panchayat.
(4) Increase the eligibility criteria for a person to contest any level elections to graduation and limit the age to 55 and below.
(5) Promote setting up of cottage-industries down in the rural ares.
(6) Station 3-4 cops in public areas to keep off 'psycho men'.
(7) Promote setting up of spoken-English institutions in every village.
(8) Encourage reputed companies and banks to set up funds like the Infosys Foundation, Sir Ratan Tata Trust.
(9) Tougher and stricter laws on drugs.

This is all that i can think of now :) If more ideas pop up, will let you know. If your next question is about, from where all the cash would come from, then i would reply "if freaks in BOLLYWOOD could throw up cash on extravagant parties, shows and out-of-the-world movies then it's time for some kick-ass action against them!"

Waiting for your views :) Take care

same question arise in my mind too...but how to do it ??/is really a difficult question to answer...
my ideas:
1.any revolution start with the writings of pen from journalist.our indian journals should kindle fire in the minds of people...
2.then we should that each individual should be backed by group of members(we have to form a small no of groups for everyone ,the group stands with us for our rights and eacch one should be mutually beneficial to each other..)

I typed" How to bring changes in India". You blog was the first.
Good Thought!
But How to bring change in our Day- to-Day life is most important.
Yesterday my Boyfriend suggested that he wants to Give 100 rs to a Beggar every week, However he will Ask the Beggar the most important question" What will he do with 100 rs". Until he is not convinced, He will not give it out. Not being biased but isn't that a very small perhaps a major step towards "Doing something for this country".

Make a small contribution but make it constant, One day you will inspire and bring major changes. Better one.

You don't need to be a PM to bring about changes
